FEATURES OF CONVERSATION AND SILENCE: PEDAGOGICAL SIGNIFICANCE IN THE PROCESS OF SPIRITUAL AND MORAL EDUCATION

This article scientifically and theoretically analyzes the role of the concepts of conversation and silence in the process of spiritual and moral education, as well as their pedagogical, psychological, communicative, and axiological characteristics. Conversation is considered an important educational tool that shapes a person’s culture of thinking, transfers social experience from generation to generation, and creates an atmosphere of understanding and trust in interpersonal relationships. Silence, in turn, is interpreted not as a passive state, but as a conscious spiritual and pedagogical phenomenon that develops self-control, reflection, patience, contemplation, emotional balance, and moral responsibility. The article highlights the harmony between conversation and silence, their possibilities in youth education, and their practical significance within educational institutions, families, and mahalla communities. The research employs methods of philosophical-pedagogical analysis, axiological approach, comparative analysis, observation, and generalization. It is substantiated that, within the framework of Uzbekistan’s educational and spiritual upbringing policy, the development of a culture of conversation and silence serves as an important factor in strengthening young people’s communicative competence, critical thinking, moral stability, and social responsibility.
