This article provides a scientific analysis of the activities of soldiers from Surkhandarya region during the Second World War on the front lines and in the home front, their contribution to the victory over fascism, and the historical significance of their service. Based on archival documents and historical sources, the study highlights the activities of the 213th Rifle Division, the 92nd Separate National Brigade, and the 1st Guards Airborne Division. It also examines the participation of Surkhandarya soldiers in major military operations, the scale of losses, and labor efforts in the home front. The results of the study show that the courage of the population of Surkhandarya region during the war holds an important place in national history and memory policy.
