This article analyzes the unique scientific and spiritual environment formed in Mavarannahr during the 9th-12th centuries, as well as the coverage of the activities of thinkers from this period based on Arabic biographical sources (tabaqat and mu'jam) and local encyclopedic works. Utilizing historical, comparative-analytical, and statistical methods, the study examines the contribution of Mavarannahr scholars to the development of Islamic sciences particularly Hadith and Fiqh – through the lens of famous biographical work  Abu Hafs an-Nasafi. The research results demonstrate that the scholarly activities and teacher-student traditions of figures such as Abu Hafs an-Nasafi highlight an integral connection and high academic mobility among the scientific centers of Nasaf, Samarkand, and Bukhara. Furthermore, drawing on primary sources, the article concludes that institutions such as the "Dar al-Juzjaniyya" madrasa and the caliph-supervised "Masjid al-Manora" in Samarkand served as major academic hubs within the region's educational system, making a significant overall contribution to Islamic civilization."
