LITERARY TRANSLATION AS A FORM OF IN THE ETHNIC LITERARY RELATIONS BETWEEN EAST AND WEST

Anna Purna C ,

Abstract

In the modern era, the influence of the West holds significant importance across various domains. Introduction to activities, scientific discoveries, and literary trends of other foreign languages such as German, French, Italian, etc., also comes through English. The cultures of English and Hindi are distinct, with differences in their traditional religious, social, cultural circumstances, literary vocabulary, and grammar. Their vocabulary in Indian languages is similar, with words like 'yajna', 'mahachiti', 'sat-chit', 'ananda', etc., being common. Such similarities are not found in foreign languages. In this article, I aim to draw your attention to these points.

Keywords

Eastern, Western, scientific discoveries, language transmission, cultural, religious, social, emotional, intellectual, myth, social consciousness, resistance, etc.
