HU SHI AND FITRAT'S IDEALOGICAL VIEWS ON LANGUAGE REFORMS IN POETRY

Abstract

: This article analyzes the ideological views of Hu Shi and Fitrat on language reforms in poetry in the early 20th century. Hu Shi advocated for reforms in Chinese literature through the use of the Baihua language, while Fitrat aimed to adapt Uzbek literature to national and modern requirements. The article compares the approaches of both scholars to poetry and language reforms, and their impact on cultural and social changes. This analysis provides deeper insight into the effects of language reforms on literature and national identity across different cultures.
