EXPRESSION OF MYTHOLOGICAL SYMBOLS IN UZBEK AND PERSIAN POETRY

This article provides a genesis and comparative analysis of the reflection of mythological symbols in Eastern poetry. Common myths, their classification and definition are given. The article is devoted to a comparative analysis of symbolic images in eastern poetry, especially in Uzbek and Persian poetry. The interpretation of the Simurgh bird in Uzbek, Persian, Turkish literature and the Avesta is briefly explained. The interpretation of the Simurgh bird in Uzbek and Persian literature is comparatively studied and revealed through the example of the works of Hamid Olimjon, the great poet of our national literature, and Siyovush Kasroi, a modern Iranian poet and spiritualist.
