
FEATURES OF THE CATEGORY OF DEFINITENESS IN THE ARABIC LANGUAGE

The article is dedicated to analyzing the concepts of definiteness and indefiniteness in the Arabic language, as well as examining nouns that belong to the category of definiteness. In Arabic, there exists a category of definiteness and indefiniteness, which is not found in many other languages. By studying this category, one can understand the true meaning of words, as these categories clarify what is familiar or unfamiliar to the speaker and the listener.
