This article is devoted to the study of the role and place of women in pre-Islamic society, its essence and merits, positive and negative aspects, which received artistic reflection in the early medieval oral narratives “Ayyam al-Arab”. For this purpose, some tribal stories – “Days” were selected and analyzed, on the basis of which the main participants of historical events, heroines of that time were identified, and an attempt was made to classify them.
