This article presents a stylistic analysis of the works of prominent authors within the crime fiction genre in English literature. It focuses on the literary style, narrative structure, dialogues, psychological portrayal of characters, attention to detail in representing reality, and the incorporation of mystery-enhancing elements in the writings of notable figures such as Arthur Conan Doyle, Edgar Allan Poe, and Agatha Christie. The study explores the historical development of crime fiction in English literature and its influence on contemporary writers. Special attention is paid to the linguistic features characteristic of the detective genre and their impact on the literary language, analyzed through a linguopoetic approach. The findings of the research contribute to a deeper understanding of the stylistic aspects of English crime fiction and offer a foundation for comparative studies with Uzbek literature.
