DEVELOPING PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS’ CREATIVE ABILITIES IN NATURAL SCIENCE LESSONS THROUGH VARIOUS METHODS

Yulduz Shoyeva ,

Abstract

The article examines ways of developing the creative abilities of primary school students in natural science lessons through various teaching methods. It analyses the content and structural indicators of creative ability and the potential of natural science content for building students’ skills of independent thinking, analysing problem situations, generating new ideas and developing alternative solutions. Problem-based, inquiry-based and project methods, observation and experiment, cooperative learning and creative modelling are described, the organisation of creative activity within the 5E model is outlined, and criteria for assessing creative abilities are proposed.
