REFLECTION OF HISTORICAL REALITY IN THE MEMOIRS OF SHUKRULLO AND SAID AHMAD
Rayhon Umrzokovna Norkulova ,Abstract
This article analyzes the specific features of the memoir genre in Uzbek literature and the artistic interpretation of the relationship between the individual and the era. The memoirs of Said Ahmad (“Yo‘qotganlarim va topganlarim”) and Shukrullo (“Javohirot sandig‘i”) are studied as the main sources, and the ways in which historical reality is reflected through individual memory are discussed. Using the example of Oybek’s work and the debates surrounding the creation of his novel “Navoiy”, the article also analyzes the relationship between the creative personality and the ideology of the period. It is shown that Shukrullo interprets the era through philosophical and aesthetic generalizations, while Said Ahmad portrays it through direct observation of life and personal testimony.
