In the literary text, toponyms have a special lingupoetic significance. Such units are often used in the works of Tolapbergan Kaipberganov. During his more than half a century of writing career, Tolepbergen Kaipbergenov has gone through a long and intense creative path. In his works, he glorified the history, modernity, national values and traditions of the Karakalpak people with great skill. The article expresses an opinion about the appropriation of some toponyms used in the writer’s work “Korakalpoknoma”. Based on examples, the meaning of toponyms in this work is shown from the point of view of linguopoetics and linguoculturology.
