This article is devoted to the life and creative heritage of the great philosopher of the 17th century, Yusuf Karabaghi, and analyzes the socio-political and spiritual environment of his time, as well as how these factors influenced the scholar’s worldview and philosophical views. Karabaghi was born in the Karabagh region of Azerbaijan and worked in the scientific centers of the East - Shiraz, Samarkand and Bukhara. He created a number of important works in the fields of philosophy, law and theology in Arabic and Persian. This article analyzes his works “Hoshiya Khonaqah”, “Commentary on the Proof of the Obligatory”, “Seven Paradises” and others in terms of content and aims to reveal their historical, scientific and spiritual significance. The philosopher’s scientific heritage had a great influence on the philosophical thought of the Near and Middle East. The article draws attention to the fact that Karabaghi’s heritage has not been fully studied today.
