This article analyzes the ongoing changes in the social consciousness of citizens in modern society, particularly the formation and development of a sense of responsibility and active civic position, as well as the factors influencing this process. The study also provides a theoretical grounding for the dynamic nature of social consciousness, the role of mass media and digital technologies in this transformation, and the importance of an active civic stance in the formation of civil society.
