THE FOUNDATION OF THE INSTITUTE OF PHYSICS AND TECHNOLOGY AND THE FORMATION OF THE FIRST SCIENTIFIC DIRECTIONS (1940s - 1980s)

This article explores the key stages of development and early scientific directions of the Institute of Physics and Technology. It reveals the role and significance of the institute in laying the foundation for scientific research in Uzbekistan. Based on archival materials, the activities of scientific schools and key areas of the institute’s work are investigated. Additionally, the operation of the institute as a scientific hub is examined in detail, and its scientific research in physics and practical outcomes are analyzed.
