THE ISSUE OF GRATITUDE IN THE SOCIO-ANTHROPOLOGICAL VIEWS OF ALISHER NAVOI

This article explores the socio-anthropological interpretation of the concept of gratitude in the works of Alisher Navoi. In his worldview, gratitude (shukr) is regarded as a measure of spiritual perfection, patience, faith, and social harmony. Using verses from the Qur’an, hadiths, and meaningful poetic lines, the article reveals the role of gratitude in human development. It also analyzes the philosophical connection between patience and gratitude.
