This article analyzes the moral-psychological and moral-axiological aspects of deception. It explores the psychological foundations of lying, its place within the system of values, and historical-philosophical perspectives of Eastern and Western thinkers. The study applies comparative and analytical methods, focusing on the consequences of deception in modern society.
