THE PROBLEM OF FORMING CULTURAL DIVERSITY AND NEW IDENTITY IN THE CONTEXT OF THE GLOBAL MEDIA SPACE
Manzura Khurramovna Radjabova ,Abstract
The article explores the issue of cultural diversity and the formation of new identities in the context of the global media space. It examines how global information flows, transnational communication systems, and digital culture influence social consciousness and identity construction. The study emphasizes that the media environment fosters intercultural interaction, integration, and transformation, leading to the emergence of hybrid or fluid identities. At the same time, it highlights potential challenges such as the erosion of national identity and the intensification of cultural contradictions. The paper offers philosophical and sociological insights into preserving cultural diversity and promoting constructive identity formation in the age of globalization.
