THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THE IDEAS OF JADID PHILOSOPHY IN NATIONAL AWAKENING AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF MODERN SOCIETY
Ikboljon Mamurov ,Abstract
The Jadid movement, which emerged in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries in Central Asia, particularly in the territory of Turkestan, played a significant role in promoting national revival and enlightenment ideas. Their philosophical views were aimed at the spiritual and intellectual development of the individual, the modernization of education and culture, and the formation of national consciousness. This article examines the historical context of Jadid philosophy, its enlightenment and democratic principles, as well as the contemporary relevance of these ideas in modern Uzbekistan. The findings demonstrate that Jadid thought represents not only a historical legacy but also an important factor in advancing social progress, national revival, and humanistic values in contemporary society.
