This article examines the theoretical and practical aspects of enhancing ecological consciousness and culture among youth in the process of building an enlightened society in Uzbekistan. The philosophical and social essence of ecological consciousness and ecological culture is analyzed, and the key factors influencing their development are systematically explored. Particular attention is given to innovative mechanisms for fostering ecological thinking among young people, including the role of the education system, social institutions, and state policy. The study substantiates the importance of improving ecological culture as a critical factor in achieving sustainable societal development
