THE ROLE OF THE LOCAL BUDGET IN THE UZBEK SSR AFTER THE SECOND WORLD WAR (A CASE STUDY OF SURKHANDARYA AND KASHKADARYA)

This article examines the significance and role of the local budget in the formation of revenues and expenditures in the Uzbek SSR after the Second World War. It highlights the dominant share of taxes and fees in local budget revenues and analyzes the allocation of expenditures to the national economy, socio-cultural activities, and other sectors. The study is based on archival documents and historical sources from the Surkhandarya and Kashkadarya regions.
