PSYCHOLOGY OF CORRUPT BEHAVIOR AND SOCIO-PSYCHOLOGICAL FACTORS OF PROFESSIONAL CONSCIOUSNESS DEFORMATION

This article analyzes the socio-psychological roots of corrupt behavior, the deformation of professional consciousness, and the mechanisms behind the formation of self-interest motivation in the activities of public servants. Corruption is interpreted not only as a legal violation but also as a complex outcome of interrelations between personal needs, dispositional attitudes, group environment, the ideology of success, and moral choice.
