Particular attention is paid to the Jadids’ enlightenment activities, their efforts to transform public consciousness, promote ideas of national development, reform the educational system, and foster elements of civil society through the lens of modernization theories. The study employs historical, systemic, comparative, and socio-philosophical research approaches. The findings demonstrate that the Jadid movement played a crucial role in establishing the historical and spiritual foundations of contemporary modernization processes in Uzbekistan.
