This article discusses the language means of expressing gratitude in the Uzbek language. Speech acts must be formed not only in terms of intonation, but also syntactically. In other words, speech acts cannot be formed by intonation alone. For this, it is necessary to create a syntactic structure in the structure of a sentence or a text by means of specific language units and to find their composition in terms of intonation. As speech acts occur through speech or text, their essence can change based on intonation.
