In this article, the directions of the foreign policy of India, one of the major countries of South Asia, the state's foreign policy in the context of the transformation of modern international relations, its negotiations with the People's Republic of China on the expansion of trade and investment and border issues, the issues of accelerating relations with the countries of East Asia, the issues of giving a new impetus to the development of traditional relations with the countries of the Middle East, maintaining close strategic and economic relations with the US while taking an independent position in India's foreign policy on regional and global issues, and supporting the principle of multipolarity in the world's political and economic system were analyzed.
