
DEMOCRACY AND GLOBAL GOVERNANCE

: This study provides an analysis of contemporary challenges in global governance, taking into account existing models of international cooperation and the need for their renewal. The work substantiates the need to revise traditional approaches to managing international affairs in favor of deliberative democracy. The idea of creating a Global People's Assembly is considered, the obstacles and prospects of this project are analyzed. The role of information technology and social media in stimulating public participation and democratic processes at the global level is also examined. The study provides insight into the dynamics of contemporary global governance and offers new perspectives for the development of international relations in the context of democracy and citizen participation
