JAPANESE CULTURAL DIPLOMACY IN GLOBAL CONTEXT

This article examines the initiatives of Japanese cultural diplomacy, studying its historical foundations, modern practice and impact on international relations. Examines Japan's strategic use of its rich cultural heritage, including traditional art and contemporary pop culture, to promote its values and interests abroad, and discusses the global phenomenon of anime and manga as powerful tools for projecting Japan's soft power on the world stage.
