This article covers extensively the economic, political and cultural relations of the United States with countries located in the Asia-Pacific from the 18th century to the present day. In addition, during these periods, opinions were expressed on their mutual problems and their solutions. The main focus of the article is on the analysis of contemporary U.S. trends in the area and the political situation in the region in modern times.
