During this period, it was studied that goods produced in Russia were not highly competitive in the markets of the emirate and Turkestan compared to products imported from India, England and Europe.

The article provides information that in Central Asia, in addition to interregional trade in the Middle Ages, domestic trade also developed, along the streets there were shops, craftsmen’s workshops and bazaars were created, domestic trade was conducted on a daily basis. The article examines the concept of “refugee” and the history of its emergence during the First World War. The nature of the movement of refugees and difficulties with resettlement are presented.
