LEXICAL UNITS MARKED AS TURKISH IN PERSIAN EXPLANATORY DICTIONARIES

In this article, Persian explanatory dictionaries created in India during the time of Zahiruddin Muhammad Bobur and the Bobur dynasty, including the famous work of his time "Giyas-ul-lugat" among the lexicographical sources, and the common Turkish and other languages in it, in particular, we talk about Turkish words borrowed from Chinese, Mongolian, Arabic, and Persian languages. The article also talks about the structure of "Giyas-ul-lugat", its publications and its author Muhammad Giyasuddin. The article focuses on the etymology of Turkish words in the dictionary and the fact that they also contain words found in the modern Uzbek literary language and its dialects. The lexicographer also shows the criteria for determining which language each word belongs to. In particular, he expresses his opinions about the origin depending on the source from which it was taken, the participation of the letters in it.
