Yusuf Khojakulov ,Abstract
this article presents the issue of abbreviation, which has not been researched by Afghan scholars either in Afghanistan itself or in other foreign countries, the history and extent of its use in the Dari press, and the situation of phonetic changes of adopted abbreviations. 'reviewed and researched. To study this topic, articles in newspapers published in the Dari language were used as a source. This article is the first introduction to this topic.
