This article analyzes the role of Isajon Sulton's creative work in the formation and development of Uzbek modern prose, the artistic features of his short stories, and their relation to contemporary literary and aesthetic standards from a literary criticism perspective. The study highlights modern tendencies in Uzbek prose through the use of inner monologue, psychologism, social and ethical layers, postmodern elements, and metaphorical language tools in the author's stories.
