CONVERSION IN THE TOPONYMIC SYSTEM OF THE UZBEK LANGUAGE

The article discusses the derivational distinction of proper nouns (onomastic units) from the appellative lexicon, their specific features, the conversion (lexical-semantic) method of word formation and formation within the appellative lexicon and the scientific interpretation of this method, onomastic conversion and its differences from the simple conversion method, the formation of toponyms in the Uzbek language by the conversion method, and the toponymization (toponymization) of appellatives based on evidence.
