INTERCONNECTION BETWEEN METAPHOR AND CULTURE (COMPARATIVE ANALYZE BETWEEN ENGLISH AND UZBEK LANGUAGES)

Abstract

In this article, the connection between metaphor and culture is researched. The reflection of cultural values and worldviews in the metaphors of English and Uzbek languages is studied. In the social context, this article shows the differences and similarities between metaphor and culture within examples, and highlighting innovative ideas about the role of cognitive mechanisms. The results show that the metaphors in English and Uzbek languages can appear on the uniqueness of each culture, and their differences help to understand human experience. Overall, the article serves to enhance intercultural communication as well as understanding, and emphasizes the need for further research in this field in the future.
