Knowing a language means, first of all, the acquisition of communicative competences. Language is learned to understand spoken and written speech, as well as to be able to communicate orally and in writing, and knowledge of vocabulary and grammar should serve to understand and communicate. Lexical and grammatical knowledge can be checked through communicative competences, that is, to what extent a person understands oral and written texts, and by evaluating his written and oral speech, it is possible to draw conclusions about his vocabulary and grammatical knowledge.
