THE HUMAN IMAGE IN LANGUAGE: THE PHENOMENON OF LINGUISTIC ANTHROPOMORPHISM
A.M. Yusupova ,Abstract
This article analyzes the phenomenon of linguistic anthropomorphism from the perspective of the interrelation between human thought and language. By attributing human qualities to inanimate objects and phenomena in language, a person better understands their world, making it more comprehensible and vivid. Using examples from the Uzbek language, the poetic, cultural, and modern forms of anthropomorphism are examined, highlighting both the universality and the national features of this phenomenon.
Keywords
linguistic anthropomorphism, metaphor, personification, imagery, linguistic thought, Uzbek language, culture, emotional expression.
