Abstract

This article analyzes the role of synonyms in translation and the criteria for their selection. In the translation process, synonyms serve as an important tool for ensuring the naturalness, semantic accuracy, and stylistic consistency of the text. The article discusses the linguistic features of synonyms and their selection based on context, style, and cultural differences. It also addresses common errors in synonym selection and ways to avoid them.
