This paper analyzes phraseological units that describe physical, emotional, and mental characteristics through figurative and cultural shaped meanings. The study reveals that English phraseological units often use natural and animal imagery, while Uzbek language are based on moral and natural symbols. Both languages include idioms to express evaluation and emotion, showing that phraseological units are a mirror of cultural identity and worldview.
