This article analyzes the formation of the image of women in Korean and Uzbek literature, its socio-psychological essence, and its connection to national mentality. The authors focus on issues of freedom, self-awareness, and women's search for a place in society in literary processes of the second half of the 20th century and the early 21st century. The study found that in the literature of both nations, the image of women has become a symbol of personal exploration, spiritual experience, and social responsibility.
