LINGUISTIC ANALYSIS OF THE PHENOMENON OF ZEUGMA

The article examines the definition of zeugma, its morphological origin, its distinction from ellipsis, as well as the origin of zeugma in the German language. It discusses the meanings of the verb between literal physical action and figurative meaning, abstract state, as well as the classification of zeugma depending on the position of the predicate.
