LINGUOCULTURAL FEATURES OF NOMINAL UNITS

Dildora Ismoilova ,

Abstract

This article presents a linguocultural analysis of nominative structures through a comparative study of English, Russian, and Uzbek. It explores the morphosyntactic, semantic, and pragmatic dimensions of the nominative case across typologically diverse languages. Key phenomena discussed include subject encoding, multiple nominative constructions, experiencer-subject alignments, and the re-conceptualization of case assignment via a predicate-based model. The study also highlights how complex nominative units emerge through word formation, compounding, and lexicalization, reflecting language-specific strategies in conceptualizing experience and discourse structuring.
