FORENSIC LINGUISTICS: ANALYSIS OF MODERN APPROACHES

The article highlights the development of forensic linguistics from the beginning of the 21st century to the present, as well as its integration with criminology, expertology, psycholinguistics, pragmalinguistics, and computational linguistics. It also analyzes the scientific foundations of modern approaches by exploring methodological perspectives in forensic linguistics, the scientific and ethical position of the linguistic expert, the legal consequences of language use, and the socially just role of language in judicial processes.
