This article is devoted to a comparative analysis of grammatical categories and morphological terms of the Chinese and Uzbek languages. The study is aimed at identifying the specific features of word classes, grammatical categories and morphological phenomena in these languages, which belong to two different typological systems. Chinese belongs to the family of isolating languages, and grammatical meanings are expressed mainly through word order and auxiliary words, while Uzbek belongs to the family of agglutinative languages, and grammatical relations are realized through the system of suffixes.
