Shahnozakhon Jorayeva ,

Abstract

The article explores the grammatical features of titles of English literary works as an important component of a literary text. Special attention is paid to identifying the main grammatical models of titles, their structural types, and functional-semantic characteristics. The study analyzes nominal, prepositional, predicative, and infinitive constructions used in the titles of English and American literary works. The findings demonstrate that the grammatical form of a title plays a significant role in shaping the semantic and pragmatic potential of a literary text and in conveying the author’s artistic intention.
