In the work The Republic of Wine by the contemporary Chinese writer Mo Yan, a large number of dialectisms are employed, some of which pose significant difficulties for translators. This article examines how the original dialectisms used in the text are rendered in translation and identifies the methods by which these dialectal elements have been translated from Chinese into Uzbek and Russian. The study analyzes translation strategies applied to convey dialectal features while preserving the stylistic and cultural specificity of the original work.
