GENDER DISCOURSE IN UZBEK AND ENGLISH CULTURES

Abstract

This article is dedicated to a comparative analysis of gender discourse in Uzbek and English cultures, reflecting gender stereotypes, traditional and modern perspectives through the works of Agatha Christie and Tokhir Malik. Based on the theoretical views of Russian, Uzbek and English scholars, the similarities and differences in the two cultures are shown. The article explores the cultural context of gender discourse, its manifestation in literature, and its significance in society.
