Zilola Ibodullayeva ,

Abstract

This study examines the expression of naturalistic and psychological realism in Kate Chopin's novel "At-Fault." Through a detailed analysis, it reveals how Chopin intertwines these literary movements to explore themes of identity, societal constraints, and moral dilemmas. The naturalistic elements highlight the influence of environment and social class on character behavior, while psychological realism delves into the internal struggles and emotional complexities of the protagonists. By employing vivid imagery and authentic dialogue, Chopin creates a rich narrative that invites readers to engage deeply with the characters’ experiences, ultimately offering timeless insights into the human condition.
