This article examines the functional and stylistic features of neutral speech verbs used to convey information in Arabic media discourse. The study analyzes the semantic, syntactic and pragmatic characteristics of the verbs قال “to say” and ذَكَرَ “to mention”, which are widely used in mass media texts. Particular attention is given to their role in indicating information sources, distancing the author’s position, and ensuring the structural coherence of media texts. The analysis demonstrates that these verbs function as important linguistic tools for presenting information in an objective and fact-based manner in Arabic media discourse.
