This article examines the methods of expressing the masdar in Uzbek in the process of translation. The study focuses on the ways in which the Arabic masdar is rendered into Uzbek through various grammatical means, including verbal forms, participles, gerunds, and nominal constructions. The analysis shows that the choice of expression depends on the contextual and syntactic features of the sentence. The findings indicate that there is no single universal method of expressing the masdar, and different grammatical strategies are used depending on the functional role of the masdar in the text.
