PRAGMATIC ANALYSIS OF SPEECH ETIQUETTE UNITS AND STAGES OF THEIR DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

This article analyzes the theoretical foundations, historical genesis, and linguopragmatic features of speech etiquette. It is examined as an important sociolinguistic phenomenon regulating social interactions. The study provides a comparative overview of Western, Russian, and Arabic approaches. Special attention is given to the development and modern functions of Arabic speech etiquette.
